Position Overview
Express Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic and organized entry-level Marketing and Branding Specialist to support company growth through digital content management, cross-functional collaboration, and event coordination. This role will work closely with Sales, Operations, and Leadership to assist with marketing, branding, events, proposals, and communication initiatives while helping maintain a strong, professional presence across our platforms and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing & Digital Content Management

• Help develop and maintain a company wide marketing plan with initiatives and goals for each month/quarter/year.
• Manage and update company website content (via WordPress or similar platform)
• Maintain online profiles and ensure brand consistency across platforms
• Assist in creating graphics or visual content to support company needs
• Support internal communications by creating and updating the company SharePoint (Intranet) site

2. Sales & Operations Support

• Assist in coordinating customer-facing marketing materials, presentations, and branded content
• Track and organize lead information, client contacts, and business development follow-ups
• Provide direct support to Sales and Operations with administrative tasks, communications, and follow-up activities
• Conduct market research and track industry developments to refine bid strategies.

3. Proposal Support & Documentation

• Ensure brand consistency across all proposals
• Assist with proposal development, formatting, and proofreading to ensure consistency and quality
• Support preparation of pre-qualification packages and project documentation
• Maintain and organize a proposal library with templates, company information, project experience, and visual assets

4. Event Coordination

• Maintain a calendar of relevant industry events and registration deadlines
• Coordinate event materials, logistics, and branded giveaways (SWAG)
• Prepare event kits and support planning meetings
• Attend events when necessary (out of town travel maybe required)

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred (or relevant internship/experience)

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic knowledge of website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace)
• Familiarity with SharePoint is a plus
• Familiarity with Canva is a plus
• Comfortable with document organization, formatting, and editing

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team
• Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs

Salary: $45,000

The Position: We seek a qualified OSP Project Manager with a thorough knowledge of OSP Construction and Fiber Optics, experience bidding jobs, and skills in communicating with customers and collaborating with team members. A minimum of five years in OSP Construction is preferred. The successful candidate will manage all project life cycle phases, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive industry knowledge, and the ability to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams.

The Location(s): Fredericksburg, VA

Pay Range: $55k-$70k

Key Responsibilities:

• Have a working knowledge of OSP Construction methods including aerial, buried, and underground cable placement.
• The ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Able to meet with developers, superintendents, customers, and others to discuss and lay out telecom networks.
• Attend pre-bid meetings with customers and government entities.
• Research specifications, materials, price, and bid RFPs, RFQs.
• Computer skills in Outlook, Excel, and Project Management tools.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience in OSP Design and Bidding
• Experience in government contracts
• GPS/GIS
• Project management certification is a plus.
• Proven experience managing OSP Construction projects
• Strong understanding of industry-specific technologies and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

Express-tek is looking for Cad Drafters experienced in AutoCAD. Express-tek is a telecom engineering company and our drawings include civil road bases to simple 2D building drawings.  One successful candidate should have one year experience working in AutoCAD. Also Express is interested in entry level drafting with some school design. We are accepting applications for a Quality Construction Inspector. The information is as listed below. This has been presented to us as a long term position. This position is in the Ashburn/Manassas, Virginia area. You may have multiple construction crews in the field to inspect for quality, safety and accountability. You would report directly to local management. A background check will be conducted and you will carry a security card for access to data centers, restricted areas and warehouses. In addition to OSP responsibilities you may be required to assist in loading cables or other materials from the  warehouse. Previous forklift experience will be helpful however we will send you to a certified training class.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training in structured cabling, electronics, or a related field is a plus.
• Basic understanding of structured cabling principles, including copper and fiber optic cabling standards and installation techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic security systems, such as access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection, is desirable.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in cabling and electronic security installations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
