Stephen Brown
President
Stephen has over 20 years in the telecom industry. 15 of those years were leading Express-Tek’s Engineering and OSP departments and help setting the high standards Express-Tek holds itself to. Stephen has overseen the planning, design, implementation, and management of building laterals to large scale ring projects.
Fred Brown
Executive Advisor
Fred has over 45 years in the telecom industry and established Express Technologies, Inc. in 2002. Since then, Fred has managed the firm, ensuring that Express-Tek maintains the highest of standards while leading the company in corporate vision.
Robert Drake
Vice President of Business Operations
Bob has over 50 years for telecommunications experience specializing in Field Services, Central Office Operations, Telephone Switch Systems Engineering, and Quality Facilitations. Bob’s primary role at Express-Tek is contracts administration, business analysis, and corporate compliance.
George Prygocki
Vice President of Engineering - Sterling, VA
With more than 35 years of experience, George focuses on the growth and development of the Express-Tek’s telecom group. George is responsible for client engagement and business development activities, as well as identifying new opportunities that will diversify the business across geographies, sectors and services. Over his years with MFS and KCI Technologies, he has worked on many large projects including small cell.
Jim Bruce
Vice President of Construction
Jim oversees the day to day activities of Telecommunications ISP, Audiovisual, CCTV and Security. He monitors employee and project productivity, revenue margins and new direction for growth. He also sets guidelines for personnel evaluation recruitment and advancement. Jim has worked 20 years in industry. Some of his past work involves managing the installation of the Pro Audio Sound System at UVA John Paul Jones Arena, UVA’s Baseball and Soccer Field, and the installation of multiple systems including structured cabling, audiovisual, security, and fire alarm in numerous K12 schools.
Ross Ritenour
Director of Sales and Business Development
Ross brings 40 years of commercial electrical, telecom & energy management construction experience to Express-Tek. His travels have taken him all over the United States constructing and managing electrical and low voltage projects from Retail to Healthcare to Transportation. He holds the Master Electrical License in VA, MD and NC along with several certifications for Express-Tek. In 2007 he was tasked to build our ISP construction division until turning over operations to Jim Bruce in 2017. After a short 3-year stint working for Amazon as the Senior Facilities Coordinator, Ross returned to Express-Tek to establish the Construction Division in Georgia, North Carolina, and surrounding southeast states. He now directs Sales & Business Development.

Keith Ward
Director of OSP Construction
Keith has over 40 years in Aerial & Underground utility construction managing fiber, copper & coax cabling. His primary role at Express-Tek is designing, implementing and managing fiber optic builds for public and private organizations.
Emilie Nerney
Marketing & Branding Strategist
Emilie has over 5 years of marketing and graphic design experience with a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication from Liberty University. She has spearheaded the unification of Express-Tek’s brand and voice over the past 3 years, directing the marketing efforts and growing brand awareness through organic social media growth, marketing material, events, and networking.
Jennifer Marcum
Accounts Manager
With over 15 years of bookkeeping experience and a Bachelors in Business Administration, Jennifer Marcum maintains the daily business operations at Express-tek. As the Accounts Manager at Express for the past 10 years, Jennifer is knowledgeable and confident in not only the accounting functions but also the HR operations.
