The Assistant Low Voltage Systems Integrator supports the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of low-voltage systems, including security, access control, CCTV, fire alarms, audio-visual, and basic IT systems. This role is ideal for someone with basic technical skills who is eager to learn and grow in the field of low-voltage systems integration. The Assistant Integrator will work closely with senior team members to ensure that systems are integrated effectively and operate according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support System Design & Integration:
    • Attend site walks and meetings with potential customers to understand system design requirements
    • Assist in the creation of system integration plans and diagrams
    • Help in the selection and preparation of equipment and materials for installation
    • Provide support in integrating various low voltage systems under the guidance of senior integrators
  • Installation & Configuration:
    • Assist in the installation, wiring, cabling, and termination of low voltage systems.

    • Basic understanding of low voltage systems such as security, access control, CCTV, or audio-visual systems is preferred
  • Skills:
    • Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills in low voltage systems integration

  • Certifications:

  • Estimation Support:
    • Assist the Senior Estimator in preparing detailed cost estimates for low-voltage construction projects.

  • CAD Design:
    • Create and modify CAD drawings based on project requirements and specifications.

Express-tek is looking for Cad Drafters experienced in AutoCAD. Express-tek is a telecom engineering company and our drawings include civil road bases to simple 2D building drawings.  One successful candidate should have one year experience working in AutoCAD. Also Express is interested in entry level drafting with some school design. We are accepting applications for a Quality Construction Inspector. The information is as listed below. This has been presented to us as a long term position. This position is in the Ashburn/Manassas, Virginia area. You may have multiple construction crews in the field to inspect for quality, safety and accountability. You would report directly to local management. A background check will be conducted and you will carry a security card for access to data centers, restricted areas and warehouses. In addition to OSP responsibilities you may be required to assist in loading cables or other materials from the  warehouse. Previous forklift experience will be helpful however we will send you to a certified training class.
