The Position: We are seeking a qualified OSP Project Manager with a thorough knowledge of OSP Construction, experience in bidding jobs, and is skilled in communicating with customers as well as collaboration with team members. A minimum of five years in OSP Construction preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of project life cycles, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive industry knowledge, and the ability to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams.
The Location(s): Fredericksburg, VA
Pay Range: $55k-$70k
Key Responsibilities:
- Have a working knowledge of OSP Construction methods including aerial, buried, and underground cable placement.
- The ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Able to meet with developers, superintendents, customers, and others to discuss and lay out telecom networks.
- Attend pre-bid meetings with customers and government entities.
- Research specifications, materials, price, and bid RFPs, RFQs.
- Computer skills in Outlook, Excel, and Project Management tools.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience in OSP Design and bidding
- Experience in government contracts
- GPS/GIS
- Project management certification is a plus.
- Proven experience managing OSP Construction projects
- Strong understanding of industry-specific technologies and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
