The three departments previously known as Engineering, Outside Plant Construction and Inside Plant Construction have been rebranded to better represent the extensive capabilities Express-Tek has to offer. The new names are Utility Consulting, Utility Construction and Systems Integration respectively.
Utility Consulting covers engineering, design, permitting and consultation services with the jobs ranging from large-scale data centers to fiber to the home. Utility Construction covers the outside plant construction and utility coordination. Systems Integration encompasses fire alarm, low voltage cabling, audio visual, networked paging systems and electronic security.
“Rebranding the departments is part of our efforts to broaden our horizons,” Stephen Brown, Executive Vice President of Express-Tek, said. “Our future is bright, and we are proud to be a part of growing this vibrant industry.”
Express-Tek has adapted in many ways over the years with the ever-changing telecommunication industry and hopes to do the same as they move into other utilities.
